Sunday Morning Worship
8:30 and 10:00 AM
CUMC
offers two
traditional services on Sunday morning. We enjoy
several devotionals including prayer requests from the congregation and
the Lord’s Prayer, scripture readings from the Bible (NIV), a children’s message,
the message from the Pastor, and singing of both traditional and praise
hymns. Members of the congregation serve as lay leaders for each
service. Our choir groups (children, youth, adults and bells) provide warmth
and joy to the celebration. Groups occasionally portray Bible stories. Music is
provided by our new Allen digital organ and piano, and, once a month, by a
praise band. On Easter and Christmas, the worship services include brass, string
and percussion musicians.
Communion is served 10 minutes prior to the service for those who wish to
partake. Also, communion is offered to the entire congregation the fourth
Sunday of each month. Sunday School and nursery care are provided at both
services. There is time between services for coffee fellowship on the
patio.
Here is a
typical Order of Worship:

the service, for those who wish to
