Bread, Bath, and Beyond

The New Year always brings opportunities to move Beyond our limitations and to find new beginnings. Our play on words of the series title ushered in the Bread Sunday as we celebrated the new year with Communion. The word Bath lifted up the image of water as we shard in a congregational Renewal of Baptismal Vows. Communion and Baptism are the starting points for life Beyond our limitations.

Jesus teaches with authority and goes beyond the boundaries of his time,
culture and understanding of how to be faithful. We are asked to go beyond boundaries to step out in faith as we celebrate Communion.

What do we do when the chaos of life gets too much? Can we get beyond the chaos to remember God is with us?

February 19  Beyond Fear
Meeting Jesus face to face calls for change and our own transformation. Fear blocks us from so many changes we seek in our life. Can we let go of fear when we see the face of Jesus?
